According to WHO’s Global Health Statistics 2008-Coronary artery disease(CAD)a condition in which blood vessels get narrowed or blocked due to deposition of cholestrol,affecting blood supply to the heart-will be the number one killer in 2030,causing 14.2%of all deaths worldwide.
second killer will be cerebrovascular diseases and then chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases(COPD)WHICH JOINTLY MAY CAUSE 20.7%OF ALL DEATH IN 2030.
Next in the list of killer will be lower respiratory infectionswhich can cause total of 3.4%of total deaths.
Road accidents ,which was on 9 rank in the last survey,is now on fifth place,and diabetes ,which was ranked 12th in the 2004,will be the 7th biggest killer in 2030 causing 3.3%of all deaths.
Violence,ranked 22nd will be the 16th leading killer causing 1.2%of all deaths
Death worldwide from HIV/AIDS is also expected to plummet.
